Construction Alert – November 15, 2022: Nighttime Bridge Delays
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the following:
Vehicular Traffic Advisory:
Nightwork will occur to perform a bridge balancing of the East Haddam Swing Bridge, this work cannot be accomplished in concurrence with vehicles driving on the bridge. The contractor will be performing short intermittent swing span openings for the balancing.
These intermittent swing span openings will begin Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 6:00pm, balancing work is anticipated to be completed before morning rush hour. Travelers using the bridge should anticipate short delays.
