Bridge Closure Alert (7-Day ‘Look Ahead’) – January 5, 2023
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the overnight bridge closure schedule of the East Haddam Swing Bridge.
TONIGHT (JANUARY 5TH)
- Thursday – Beginning at 7pm the East Haddam Swing Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic until 6am Friday morning.
WEEKEND BRIDGE CLOSURE (JANUARY 6TH – 8TH)
- Friday – Bridge reopens at 6am, NO bridge closures will occur throughout the day or night.
- Saturday – NO bridge closures will occur throughout the day or night.
- Sunday – Beginning at 7pm the East Haddam Swing Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic until 6am Monday morning.
NEXT WEEK ‘LOOK AHEAD’
- Monday-Thursday – Beginning at 7pm each night the East Haddam Swing Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic until 6am the following morning.
- Friday through Weekend – To be determined. (update to follow next week)
