The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the following:
Vehicular Traffic Advisory:
Overnight Bridge Closures:
The overnight bridge closures that were scheduled for Monday through Thursday night’s this week, have all been CANCELED.
63-Hour Bridge Closures:
Be advised that a 63-hour bridge closure will commence this coming Sunday (8/11), beginning at 8pm, bridge reopens to traffic Wednesday (8/14) at 11am.
Any changes to these scheduled closures will be communicated.
DETOUR INFO
Motorist alternative options to cross the Connecticut River during these bridge closures will be as follows:
Traveling to/from the South – Use the signed detour utilizing the Baldwin Bridge (I-95 Old Saybrook).
Traveling to/from the North – utilize the Arrigoni Bridge (Middletown-Portland).
