Marine Traffic: Connecticut River at East Haddam Swing Bridge
This construction alert is a notification to marine traffic on the Connecticut River at the East Haddam Swing Bridge. A temporary deviation to bridge openings for boats on the Connecticut River at the East Haddam Swing Span Bridge has been approved by the United States Coast Guard. Under this temporary deviation, on-call bridge openings will be restricted to occur only between the hours of 9:00 pm to 6:00 am from May 15, 2022, through October 15, 2022. Bridge openings for vessels will still occur during the hour from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm during this period.
